2016 U.S. Collegiate Synchronized Swimming
Gainesville Sports Commission will be hosting the last event in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center before it closes for complete renovation until late fall of 2016, leaving the 648,000-gallon pool behind with a synchronized splash.

Gainesville, FL—The long anticipated, 2016 U.S. Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Championship will be held in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center at the University of Florida. Over 150 of the nation’s top collegiate synchro swimmers are set to compete. Practice rounds will kick-off on Wednesday, March 23rd, followed by three competition days, Thursday, March 24th, Friday, March 25th and Saturday, March 26th.
The USA Synchro is recognized by the United States Olympic Committee as the National Governing Body for the sport of synchronized swimming and by FINA as a constituent member of the United States Aquatic Sports for participation in the Olympic games. USA Synchro unites, promotes and inspires athletes to achieve sustained competitive and personal excellence in the women’s Olympic sport of synchronized swimming.
Tickets are required to attend all events and are on sale now. You may pre-purchase your tickets now by calling the Gainesville Sports Commissions office at 352-338-9300 or email: info@gainesvillesportscommission.com.
You may also purchase tickets on the day of the event at Gate 2’s ticket window.
COST of Tickets; Thursday $10, Friday $10, Saturday $15 or All Three Day Event Pass $30.
Parking will be permitted at the O’Connell Center Parking lot, and is located on the corner of W. University Avenue and Gale Lemerand Drive.
