Gainesville Sports Organizing Committee (GSOC) Hires New Employee
Gainesville, FL, July 12, 2006 - The Gainesville Sports Organizing Committee, Inc. (GSOC) hired Joleen Cacciatore as their new communications manager. Joleen will develop and manage all aspects of GSOC's daily communications including public relations, advertisement, and marketing programs.
"The GSOC Board of Trustees' focus on better communicating the positive impact sports events we host and help host in Alachua County and Gainesville led to our hiring of Joleen," GSOC's Executive Director Jack Hughes said. "Her educational background and experience were a perfect fit. We are very pleased to have her join our team."
Joleen Cacciatore is a graduate of Florida Southern College and received a BS degree in advertisement. She was a member of the Florida Southern College's Women's Volleyball Team for four years. Joleen brings experience from her past internships at Polk County Sports Marketing and Peace River Center.
The Gainesville Sports Organizing Committee, Inc. (GSOC), founded in 1988, is a not-for-profit organization that strives to promote tourism through sports while creating a positive economic impact on Gainesville and Alachua County.
