Gainesville Sports Organizing Committee (GSOC) Needs Volunteers for the NORCECA Girls Youth Volleyball Championships
Gainesville, FL, July 18, 2006 - Gainesville Sports Organizing Committee, Inc. needs volunteers to help with the 2006 NORCECA Girls Youth Volleyball Championships on July 25-30. The Championships will take place at the O'Connell Center on the campus of the University of Florida.
The GSOC is expecting as many as six teams to participate in the Championships. The countries expected to send their teams to compete, are United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Honduras and the Dominican Republic. The NORCECA Youth Championships is a bi-annual event and will qualify teams for the 2007 FIVB Girls Youth World Championships.
