Parking – Free Parking is available in the Blue parking garage, see parking map HERE. You must enter the facility through the WEST LOBBY, all other doors to the facility will be locked.

Facility Open – Doors will open 1 hour prior to the first game start. Please give yourself enough time to check in at the front prior to your game time. We will not delay any games. If you are more than 5 minutes late than your scheduled play time, you will forfeit that game. 

Rules and Questions will be addressed during the announcements that will take place approximately 15 minutes before each session start. Tournament rules are linked here, please read these in full.

• Friday, August 16 – Doors will open to participants and spectators at 11:00AM
• Saturday, Aug 17 – Doors will open to participants and spectators at 8:00AM
• Sunday, Aug. 18 – Doors will open to participants and spectators at 8:00AM

FAQS –

• The game ball is florescent orange. If you wear a similar color, you will be asked to change.
• You can warm up on open courts during the tournament UNTIL a game is placed on the court. Once a game is placed, you must vacate the court immediately. Failure to vacate the court will resort in a forfeit in the tournament.
• The facility will NOT be open for play prior to the event on Friday. The best place to practice on Friday and throughout the weekend would be Northside park outdoor courts at 5701 NW 34th Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32653.
• Spectators – Spectators are FREE! Feel free to bring your friends and family to watch you play.
• Food/Concessions – Players are responsible for their own food and beverages. Water stations and fountains will be located around the facility. Concessions will be available in the West Lobby, click here for concession menu. Celebration Pointe has restaurants and shops within walking distance, check out Celebration Pointe by clicking here.

• Weather – If rain is in the forecast, the front walkway floods a little, please prepare accordingly and bring extra shoes, or wear a different pair to the facility.
• Touching Hearts at Home Gainesville will be hosting a Photobooth Contest with winners selected daily for various prizes! ‘Like’ Touching Hearts at Home Gainesville and tag them in your photos and posts with #pickleballforapurpose for your chance to win!
• The “Dink & Drink” mimosa bar presented by The Village at Gainesville is back! The “Dink & Drink” mimosa bar will be open for donations to ElderCare of Alachua County. Thank you to Blackadder Brewery for their support as well!
