The 15th Annual Gainesville Senior Games will take place on October 3-18! All adults ages 50 and over are eligible to compete in the following events:Senior Games Logo - 2015 date

Participant Benefits
Each participant receives a 15th Annual Gainesville Senior Games T-Shirt and goodie bag. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are awarded in each event.

Age Divisions
Age groups for each event are divided in 5 year intervals, beginning at age 50. All doubles and team competitors will be determined b the youngest player.

Qualifying Information
The Top 5 in each age group for each sport will qualify for the Florida Senior Games in Clearwater, FL on December 5-13, 2015. This is not a qualifying year for the National Senior Games.

Registration Guidelines
– You may enter as many sports or events as you desire (Except Swimming: up to 6 events)
– $15 for first event, $5 for each additional event
– Additional one-time facility fees required for:
Bowling: $8

Golf: $25
Swimming: $5
5K/Track and Field: $5
Archery: $5
Cycling: $5

The 15th Annual Gainesville Senior Games Archery competition will take place on Saturday, October 3 at the Gator Bowmen Archery Range. Please see below for the events offered and rules of competition.

DIRECTIONS:
FROM I-75 Northbound
At Exit 382, take ramp Right for SR-121 toward Williston / Gainesville
Turn Right on FL-121 S
Bear Right onto SR-121 / SW Williston Rd.
Take a right into our driveway just after a right curve sign and about 400 feet before you get to 105th Avenue (just before the curve and branch off of Wacahoota Rd).

Entry Regulations:
Archers must provide their own bows and target arrows.
Format
1. The “900” American round will be used for all competition.
2. 90 arrows will be shot as follows: 30 arrows from 60 yards (5 ends of 6 arrows), 30 arrows from 50 yards (5 ends of 6 arrows), 30 arrows from 40 yards (5 ends of 6 arrows).
3. Ends will be shot in 1 set of 6 arrows with five minutes allowed for each end to be shot. Three or four archers will be grouped per target shooting in two lines (A & B). Archers will rotate with their target mates after each end (A-B, B-A, etc).

Sport Rules:
All archery events will be conducted in accordance with FAA (Florida Archery Association)
